    Hello,
I need some assistance about how to prepare for spring certification and which book should I follow.
I just started reading spring in action 4, but this book doesn’t have mock questions included.
Thoughts about the book which can help me prepare well for the exam.
    Much appreciated!

      Hello Sam!
First of all, I believe there is an edition of Spring in Action that covers Spring 5.
Second, I don’t think I am the best person to ask about which book to chose to prepare for the certification, since I used only the official Spring documentation and wrote my own book.
I did attend the Core Spring 5 training, as I have written a post about, but understand that it may be a too costly option for many.
Vojtech Ruzicka has a set of free flashcards that he used to prepare for the Core Spring 4.2 certification available here: https://github.com/vojtechruz/spring-core-cert-notes-4.2
I would consider starting from those and removing cards (questions) not applicable for the Core Spring 5 certification and adding cards for areas of the Core Spring 5 certification not covered. Note that I have not used those cards and know nothing of the quality of the questions on them.
      Good luck with the test!

Hello and thanks for bringing this to my attention!
Yes, I do intend to update the book at some point in time, but as I am involved in other matters at the moment, I cannot tell exactly when this will happen.
      Happy coding!

What do you mean “updated version of question” ?

Have the exam questions been entirely changed/replaced ?

        Hello!
From what I understand, the questions have not changed entirely but some questions have been removed and more questions on Spring Boot have been added.
        Happy coding!

Your book was very seful to be certified, in my opinion even if there are new question, but the book is fair enough. In your place would like to delete the spring mvc xml part.no need.
          Thanks for the great work

    Hello,
I really enjoy the book, and if you can update this book soon that would be very helpful because it’s really hard for me to find some tutorial about those new spring boot questions. Thanks

    Hello,
Do we have to attend a spring course before passing the certification, or can we prepare it by ourselves?
    Thanks
